I just finished up a basic auto chicken cooker in Java 1.15.2 (kind where dispenser shoots into slab and baby chickens grow to die with lava above.) After letting it sit idle for a few hours I realize there was no loot and some confusion later I find out that the dispenser was shooting right through the slab.
I tried moving the dispenser and placing it in different directions, but it always shoots through the slab. I was wondering if anybody knows how to fix this.
