Newbie trying to buy a minecraft server but need advice, help is much appreciated ^^

Heey everybody! Im new to this forum and minecraft alltogether but me and my friends wanna pay for a server so we can play it together. I am from holland but some of my friends are from South africa. Do you guys know what service is best for getting best ping in both countries? please let me know in the comments below! and thanks alot you guys rock!

Well you're best bet is to look for a host with a server location in area's like France or Spain really.

Endermite host is a good cheap host which I used to use and I'd recommend them

Select the servers that near your country to get better speed, otherwise you will lag during game. Due to your friends are from south Africa, you'd better choose server in Europa countries like London or France. For my own minecraft server, I use vultr or digitalocean. 512mb ram and 15g ssd, good enough for playing with friends.

There are so many serves i wouldn't recommend making your own if you are new unless you want o play with friends only specificly

I am pretty new to this forum also, I prefer netherbox.com.

But, if that doesn't seem like the best choice try server.pro

Hi there, We can get you a server of whatever calibre you want, even with mods, just check our most recent thread to read about prices and sizes, we consider our self pretty cheap and will talk to you on skype whenever you need help or something changed.

It is best not to buy a server or you will be ripped off.

Download the latest free bukkit server starting java file and follow instructions it gives you.

IMPORTANT!
Port forward to let people join your server!
