I wanted to try some mods on my home minecraft server. I created a mods folder and filled it with 1.9.4 forge mods, such as reap and armorplus, etc etc. On my Windows client I also added a mods folder and filled it with the same mods.
Is that a requirement for using Mods ? Do I have to have the same mods on my client as I do on my server ?
I downloaded minecraft-sever.1.9.4 and started it up.
When I open up my multiplayer window I can see the server, but there is a big "V" and when I hover over it, it says "Vanilla server" I did not get this on my previous minecraft-server.1.8 that I ran.
Is it because of the mods I am trying to run ?
One of the mods, Xaero's Minimap, is working but the TrashSlot, Reap Mod, Auto Sapling, Easy Breeding etc.. are not working. I am seeing no errors in the log files.
Any help would be appreciated.
